Fishing Report 9/1 – 9/11/16

The fishing on Silver Lake has been up and down and back and forth this past week but we have still seen some very nice size Rainbows come out as well. As seems to be the norm here all summer long, anglers have had consistent luck using Berkley products like Rainbow and Yellow Glitter Garlic, as well as Mice Tails and Pinch Crawlers. If you are trolling look at using some Tasmanian Devils like a Bleeding Frog or Fire Tiger in a 7gram or pull a Seps Flasher with a worm behind it about 30 – 36″. The bugs have sprung back up lately and their is an incredible hatch of May Fly’s down on Grant Lake where the fishing has been really strong this past week as well. Look for a load of DFW catchables to be coming in early this week, then every other week by the state through the end of the season. We will also be getting a healthy load of Desert Springs Rainbows coming in later this week with this load averaging 3 pounds a piece with a 400 pound load. Look for this truck to be here Thursday afternoon. The weather is starting to cool off and Fall is right at our door step which should only help in the catching side of things. Always remember that you have to have patients and do things somewhat correctly to be successful in the catching side of fishing. Patients is a virtue and those that are patient will be rewarded!!! Hopefully with a 5 plus pound Rainbow.
Happy Fishing and We Will See You at The Lake!!!
