Silver Lake Resort Fishing Report 9/21 – 9/29/2019
The weather continues to be a roller coaster up here in the beautiful Eastern Sierra which is not unusual for the Fall season. In-between the wind the fishing has been getting better and better as the water temps continue to cool down and the pressure on the lake from anglers gets a little slower. DFW has continued to stock both Silver Lake and Rush Creek on a weekly basis and we received a healthy load of Desert Springs Rainbows this past Thursday weighing in at a total of 400 pounds with an average of 2 pounds per fish. The water temps continue to get cooler which should continue to help with the catching side of things. Worms continue to be the most consistent bait out there with Pinch Crawlers and Power Baits close behind.
Only a few more weeks to get on up to Silver Lake Resort as we will be closing for the season on Monday October 14th!!! Make one more trip up to catch a few Rainbows and grab a great breakfast before we call it a season!!!
Happy Fishing and we will see you at the Lake!!
Fish of the Week:
Kevin David of Fullerton had a double dip this week when he hooked into his second big fish of the week weighing in at 2 pounds 14 oz caught down on Rush Creek using Salmon Eggs. Great looking Rainbow from the Creek
