Yet another week of both the fishing and the weather being like a yo-yo, up and down, up and down. If you had some patience and put in some time you were rewarded with some very nice, larger Rainbows caught equally as well from a boat or the shore. Anglers saw some decent results this week using worms and power baits which tells us that the water is still cold and the fishing wasn’t that good this past week. Look for things to pick up as we continue to slowly warm up and we continue to get some nice stockings of Rainbows. DFW is on schedule to stock this next week and we should be in line for a nice load of Desert Springs fish in the next week or two.
We hope to see everyone over the coming holiday week but if you can’t make it to the Sierra, we here at Silver Lake Resort wish everyone a very good Memorial Weekend and we want to thank all those that have served and still serve today to keep our great country save.
We don’t say it enough, Thank You For Your Service!!!
Happy Fishing and We Will See You at The Lake!!!
